JetLeg Aviation Advisory was founded in 2021 by Martin Spiegl, a seasoned aviation expert with extensive experience in business and commercial aviation. His impressive career spans multiple facets of the industry, from aircraft operations and maintenance to pilot experience and technical advisory roles.

Martin Spiegl’s Expertise:

Former Managing Director of a business aviation operator (charter & high utilization), overseeing operational and strategic initiatives.
Over 15 years of experience in the maintenance and operation of business aviation aircraft.
Several years as an airline pilot for Team Lufthansa / Lufthansa Regional, gaining firsthand insight into commercial aviation operations.
Active pilot on Bombardier Challenger 604/605, maintaining direct involvement in aircraft operations.
Served as a Technical Advisor to Bombardier for more than 10 years, contributing to aircraft improvements and modifications as part of the Customer Advisory Board (a select group of 25 global experts) for Learjet, Challenger and Global Series.
Successfully managed the purchase and sale of business aviation aircraft over the past 10 years, overseeing projects with a total transaction value exceeding $220 million. His expertise covers project management, negotiations, contracts, financing, technical acceptance and operational implementation.
